Lori Weitzel/Sagittarius
A Biography Of
A Sagittarius
When I read about the traits of a Sagittarius, compared to the traits of other Zodiac signs... I felt like the life of the party!
Most people would love to learn that they possess the following positive traits;
- Free-spirited
- Lucky
- Adventurous
- Honest
- Inquisitive
- Open-minded
- Big dreamer
- Goal-oriented
- Out-going
- Fun
- Funny
Of course, every Zodiac sign has its negative attributes as well, but I try to focus on the positive traits and keep the negative ones in check.
(Which is totally a Sagittarian thing to do, by the way!)
Some Sagittarians may exhibit the following less attractive traits;
- Restless
- Easily bored
- Unemotional
- Depressed
- Arrogant
- Impatient
If you see me displaying any of these traits, I'm "positive" it would be because I was tired, confused, and/or provoked!
I'm also on the Cusp of Capricorn. (Otherwise known as the Cusp of Prophecy)
How cool is that?!
If I don't like my Sagittarius horoscope, I look at the one for Capricorn instead!
Astrologers recommend looking at both signs if you're a "Cusper" so you can get a good overall insight. It's even better when both readings are similar. I often feel that I fit into both categories and, now that I follow Astrology, I'm beginning to understand why I'm such a complex individual!)
Of course, this is all just for fun. I don't take it, or anything else in life, too seriously.
When things get a little stressful, I find guided meditation videos on YouTube helpful. I find horoscope and tarot reading videos entertaining as well.

I don't just follow my own Zodiac signs. When I meet new people, I have fun trying to guess their sign after a few moments of conversation. I'm not always correct but I keep in mind that we all have many influences in other signs.
For instance, there's your Moon sign, Rising (Ascendant) sign, and your Venus sign, just to name a few. You can look up your
birth or natal chart to see where all of your signs are by typing in your date of birth and the city in which you were born. And, if you know the time of day you were born, you can find out your Ascendant sign. Some Astrologers say your rising sign is even more accurate than your Sun sign. (My Ascendant sign happens to be the same as my Cusp sign and my Venus sign is also Sagittarius so I already follow those.)
I have fun comparing birth charts of family and friends to see how many signs we have in common. The phrase, "That explains a lot" comes up often when I discover all of the placements people have.
For instance, my son-in-law is a Taurus. But it wasn't until I discovered how many placements he had in Sagittarius that his personality started to make more sense. He is a typical Taurus in some ways but not in other ways.
The same is true for one of my granddaughters. She's a Capricorn but has multiple placements in Sagittarius as well. (That explains a lot!)
And my daughter, the other Sagittarius in my family, has five placements in Capricorn! She's more of a Capricorn than all of the other Capricorns in my family! (Six in total!) Five placements in a sign is the most of one sign I've ever seen in anyone's chart! It makes me think she's not much of a Sagittarius at all. (Oh, but she is!)
I also follow my Moon sign in Gemini and my North Node sign in Leo. North Node signs have to do with your life path and I'm still trying to figure out what my purpose is here on this planet!
There's also something called Numerology and Life Path numbers. When you add all of the numbers of your birthdate, (eg; 2025-01-01), your total number is your life path number. (eg; 11). In numerology, all numbers are broken down into one digit, unless it is a master number such as; 11, 22, and a few other master numbers. So, in this example, 11 would remain the life path number whereas the number 23, for example, would be added together to make a life path number of 5. Then you can look up all about what your life path number means!
Mine is life path number 5. (That explains a lot!)
